Rachel graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. She then moved to Richmond, Virginia to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Rachel has experience with a wide variety of neurological, vestibular, chronic pain, and orthopedic diagnoses and uses current evidence to provide quality care.
Rachel has a special interest helping patients who have sustained a concussion, return to school, work and athletic activities. She uses her knowledge of vestibular therapy to address complaints of imbalance and dizziness for patients with a variety of vestibular disorders. Rachel also uses Postural Restoration Institute techniques to correct musculoskeletal imbalances and equip patients with the tools they need to manage their pain independently. Rachel’s compassion and dedication to patient care makes her a wonderful asset to the Bon Secours team. Originally a Norfolk native, Rachel has lived in Richmond for six years and enjoys an active lifestyle running, skiing and cheering on her Carolina Tar Heels.
