Robert I. Hix, M.Ed., ATC, VATL
During his time in the field of athletic training Ian has undergone a variety of valuable experiences. He has worked as an athletic training student at high schools and PT clinics in the Northern Virginia area as well as at his undergraduate institution, George Mason.
As a certified athletic trainer (ATC) he has worked for the University of Virginia Sports Medicine as a graduate assistant while completing his Master of Education in Athletic Training. During Ian’s graduate assistantship, he worked with the football team as well as the men’s golf and lacrosse teams.
After receiving his Master’s in Athletic Training at UVA, he accepted a position with Bon Secours Sports Medicine in July 2012. As a part of his employment with Bon Secours, he is assigned as the athletic trainer at John Marshall High School in Richmond, VA.
