Debra Townsend, MS, LAT, ATC

Debra is our Certified Athletic Trainer at Deep Run High School. She received her Master’s of Kinesiology degree from Kansas State University and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University. Debra has more than seven years of athletic training experience with athletes in multiple sports at both the collegiate and high school levels. Debra is nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medicine.

Debra grew up working on the family farm in Iowa. She enjoys traveling, running, playing volleyball, and hiking with her husband and two dogs Bella and Ripken.
