Frances Kies, ATC, VATL
Frances was born and raised in Louisa, Virginia with her two brothers and twin sister. She went on to attend and graduate from Bridgewater College with her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. While at Bridgewater, she had the opportunity to work with many of the collegiate sports, including football, women’s and men’s soccer, baseball, tennis, track, field hockey, and women’s basketball. She also had the pleasure of working with Bridgewater’s team physician on and off the playing field, which allowed her to work with athletes and patients of all ages.
Since then, she has worked several overnight camps and tournaments which has allowed her to meet ATC’s from various different backgrounds. Currently she is just beginning her journey with Bon Secours Sports Medicine at Armstrong High School and hopes to continue to grow and learn from each new experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, playing soccer, and traveling. She has three dogs: Snickers the English Springer Spaniel, Dozer the Weimaraner, and Holly the Miniature Pinscher. She also has a cat named Gizmo.
